Rosario Picciotto

Rosario Picciotto studied architecture in both Italy and abroad at University of Reggio Calabria, Aix-Marseille University and Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV), where he received his degree. In 1998, he joined Spoladore Costruzioni, a design office which plans new housing and offices, and collaborated on project engineering and technical management.

In 2001, Picciotto was asked to be part of Hotels Engineering, Boscolo Group’s engineering society responsible for technical management of its hotels as well as new hotel development. Picciotto developed and lead its first Italian program on global maintenance in the hotel sector, until the call was extended to include all Italian and foreign buildings, and presented at MIPIM in Cannes in 2003. He participated in the development of a new luxury chain in Italy and in Europe, focusing on projects in Rome, Nice and Prague.

Since 2004, Picciotto has been running his own architecture and design firm with Italian and foreign commissions, and has thus extended his experience in the luxury hotel industry to a more broad customer base that includes national and international companies and chains. In addition, his projects include residences, offices and company suites.
